William O. Fulkerson
William O. Fulkerson, Research Associate, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University in Boston, MA and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Duke University in Durham, NC. Prior to coming to HRI in 2010, he taught mathematics at the high school level for four years.
Currently, Mr. Fulkerson works on the evaluations of the Cases of Reasoning and Proving in Secondary Mathematics, Geometry Assessments for Secondary Teachers, Honing Diagnostic Practice, and Cyber-enabled Learning projects. In addition, Mr. Fulkerson has worked on the development of instruments for the National Survey for Science and Mathematics Education and has assisted in writing up the results.
