2018 NSSME+: Status of High School Computer Science

This report describes the status of high school computer science instruction based
on the responses of 289 teachers from across the United States. 

This status report of high school computer science teaching is organized into major topical areas:

• Characteristics of the teaching force;

• Professional development of computer science teachers;

• Courses offered;

• Instruction, in terms of time spent, objectives, and activities;

• Resources available for  instruction; and

• Factors affecting  instruction.
