{"id":15,"date":"2011-06-20T16:08:48","date_gmt":"2011-06-20T21:08:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horizon-research.com\/atlast\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2014-04-11T11:55:51","modified_gmt":"2014-04-11T11:55:51","slug":"page22-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/horizon-research.com\/atlast\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATLAST created and is disseminating instruments that assess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>student learning<\/li>\n<li>student opportunity to learn<\/li>\n<li>teacher science content knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Three sets of instruments were developed, one for each of three science content areas at the middle grades (6-8) level:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>flow of matter and energy in living systems<\/li>\n<li>force and motion<\/li>\n<li>plate tectonics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Accessing the ATLAST Assessments\" href=\"https:\/\/horizon-research.com\/atlast\/?page_id=111\">Click here for information on how to access the teacher and student assessments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition, ATLAST created a questionnaire to assess teacher views of effective science instruction, as well as several &#8220;spinoff&#8221; products.<\/p>\n<p>ATLAST was funded as an MSP RETA by the National Science Foundation under grant no.
