Description of Support Types<\/h1>\n

Based on feedback from teacher participants at the end of our study, we made major revisions to our materials. Teachers particularly reported frustration with the inability to access their data on one of the project websites, so our revisions included creating a whole new participatory science project, Ladybugs at School, on the iNaturalist platform. Materials currently available at <\/span>www.sbpscience.org<\/span><\/a> reflect this change and support integration of Ladybugs at School.<\/span><\/p>\n

We included the following support types in our materials. Front matter supports were intended for teachers to refer back to several times throughout the school year and were generally supportive of project integration into formal elementary science instruction. Monthly supports were focused on activities for each month. Not all monthly support types were included in every month\u2019s materials.<\/span><\/p>\n
