AIM PD Materials
The AIM PD materials for Unit 1 (Cycles 1-3) and Unit 2 (Cycles 1 & 2) are intended to also be used as instructional materials in upper elementary classrooms. Each of these cycles includes student materials as well as an annotated version of the student materials to be used by teachers. Unit 2 Cycle 3 and Unit 3 Cycle 1 are intended for use in teacher PD only; they explore content beyond that which elementary students need to know. All materials are designed to be printed front-to-back.
Unit 1
- Cycle 1 – Position: Teacher Edition, Student Edition
- Cycle 2 – Motion: Teacher Edition, Student Edition
- Cycle 3 – Motion diagramming/graphing: Teacher Edition, Student Edition
Unit 2
- Cycle 1 – Force: Teacher Edition, Student Edition
- Cycle 2 – Multiple forces: Teacher Edition, Student Edition
- Cycle 3* – Force, Mass, and Acceleration (Newton’s 2nd Law): PD Provider Edition, Participant Edition
Unit 3
- Cycle 1* – Equal and Opposite Forces (Newton’s 3rd Law): PD Provider Edition, Participant Edition
*Unit 2 Cycle 3 and Unit 3 Cycle 1 are intended for teacher professional development only.
