Force and Motion Teacher Resources
Force and motion student instructional materials were developed for upper elementary grade teachers as part of the AIM project. These materials are available by clicking on the links below.
The Pedagogical Principles and Content Overview is an introductory document that describes the pedagogical approach used in the materials and includes general advice on implementing the force and motion activities. It also includes a content framework that shows how the ideas targeted by the materials build on each other and a matrix mapping activities to targeted ideas.
Student and teacher editions are listed for the activities of most cycles below. The student editions contain the designated activities; and the teacher editions contain the designated activities along with specific implementation guidance for each activity. The teacher editions are intended to be printed front-to-back.
