Laura M. Craven, Research Associate at Horizon Research, Inc. (HRI), received her bachelor’s degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University. At NC State, she conducted undergraduate research focusing on multiple imputation methods, and minored in Environmental Science and Entomology.
Since joining HRI in 2018, Ms. Craven has developed surveys and conducted data analyses for several projects, including the 2018 National Survey of Science and Mathematics Education (NSSME+) and Responding to a Global Pandemic–The Role of K-12 Science Teachers (COVID K-12). In addition, she was a member of the research team for Principles and Resources for Integrating Computational Thinking into High School Science Courses (PREDICTS). She also recently assisted with a report on the current landscape of K-12 science education in the United States.
